About Us

Melanie Garberich, owner of Baker Graphics & Expressive Walls Lettering, has been a graphic designer for over 25 years. She recently decided to add a spin off to her decorative vinyl lettering business and start a repurposed project workshop. Melanie has been creating beautiful wood signs and crafts for many years and sells her items at Patina Marquet in Willmar. She has decided she would like to be able to teach others how to beautify their home with their own personal expressions as well, using beautiful and inspiring decorative lettering from her Expressive Walls business.

What is Our Goal?

Our customers have inspired us through the years to design new projects for their home, so we have decided to give something back. We are creating a workshop designed to show you, our customers, how to make your very own repurposed signs and home decor projects that you will love to display in your home with pride. Here are some of our goals. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Event FAQs

Each workshop price will vary depending on the type of project. They will range from $20 to $60. Click on the workshop page you wish to attend and submit your online registration. You will be required to pay with Paypal or your credit card. If you wish to make other payment arrangements, please call Melanie at 320-214-8252. Your payment must be received by the deadline date or your spot may be filled with another occupant.
Your ticket includes all materials and supplies to create your project, plus snacks, refreshments and companionship! In addition to all those great things, you will also get a 50% off special discount on all decorative wall lettering for one week after your workshop date. Fill your walls with beautiful sayings or make your own projects at home!
The workshop will be located at Baker Graphics. 4166 18th Street NE in WIllmar. Go North on Hwy 71. Take a left at the green frontage road sign, which is right after the big windmills (if coming from Willmar). Then take your first right onto the gravel frontage road. Proceed to the end of gravel and take a left on the tar road and we are the first place on the right. We are in the big tan & green building on top of the hill.
Dress casually with clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.
